Visit from The Sixth Form College, Colchester

Last week we had the pleasure of receiving 20 sixth form students from The Sixth Form College, Colchester.

They spent the week with our students, learning about the Paraguayan way of life. Among other things they made chipa (pictured), milked cows, worked the vegetable patches, learnt some Guarani, heard some Paraguayan harp and played games and danced with our students. They also visited local tourist sites, including the Jesuit ruins and Iguazu falls.

We are extremely grateful to them for the time they shared with our students, and also for the fundraising they have been doing for the charity.
