There are several ways in which you could help the work of the Education Fund.
If you speak fluent Spanish and would like to volunteer for a period, please get in touch – full details are on our Volunteering Page.
Would you like to help raise funds? Perhaps you might be able to start an appeal in your church or school – or perhaps you might even like to do something more startling! Some of our friends have run half-marathons, another has tackled the Trans-Pennine cycle route. But whatever you’d like to do, let us know and we can help with logos and publicity texts and photos. We have a page on the BT MyDonate site that can help with managing donations and since we are a UK charity we are also eligible for GiftAid. See more on the How to Donate page.
Please stay in touch! You can keep up with the work of the Fund via our newsletter, which is available to all our supporters. This comes out a maximum of four times year and is packed with news and photographs of our students and volunteers, plus updates on trustee news and UK fundraising. We can send you this letter by post – it’s rarely more than a single sheet of paper – or we can send you a link to the online pdf which you can either read online or download to print yourself – and of course forward to friends who you would like to interest in what we are doing!
If you are like what you have heard about our work and are interested in hearing more, just email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to put your name on the mailing list.
Data protection policy:
We keep secure all details of donations to the Fund and subscribers to the mailing list, and we never share any data at all with other organisations or persons. If you donate via BT MyDonate, they make available to us any details you have given to them, but we will never contact you if you have requested not to be contacted. If you are a donor or on the mailing list, and you wish us to remove any details from our records, or if you want to stop receiving newsletters, simply let us know.
