Visit from Colchester Sixth Form students

We’ve recently had a visit here in Santa Maria from students from Colchester Sixth Form. This is the third visit we have done with Colchester Sixth Form, the first was in 2017 and the second in 2019. This time round, they stayed for 10 days, all of which were full of different activities. They did a tour of Santa Maria, visits to various surrounding villages, the museum in San Ignacio, the Jesuit Ruins, the Hydroelectric Dam and animal refuge in Ayolas, lots of painting, English classes and on their final night we had a talent show!

Our students from the Institute got involved in all the activities we did with the English students and loved every minute of it! These cultural exchange trips are really important for both the English and Paraguayan students, not only to help with language learning but also to share different parts of their respective identities and culture.

It’s definitely something our students here will never forget!
