Building works begin

Over the past few years our Food Technology course has grown too big for the space we have. We have around 60 students sign up each year and, while there is natural drop out during the year, the big groups no longer comfortably fit into the rooms we have. We have been discussing the possibility of building a new classroom for years and are delighted to report that last month the building work began. It will be a big classroom which has large openings to make the most of the warm climate. These large openings, particularly the one at the end of the building, will also allow the room to be expanded for events, with chairs in the garden area (on the right of the image shown) being able to see the front of the classroom (far left of the image shown). The main use of this building will be for our Food Technology Institute, but we will also make use of the space for our English entrance course, English exams, music performances and much more!
