We had as many as twelve candidates for the Cambridge Key English Test this year – far more than we have ever had before. On occasions like this, when we have a lot of candidates, the examiners will come to us in Santa María. Here are eleven of the twelve candidates, in relaxed mode after finishing their exam. Their ages range from 14 (far left) to 31 (far right). We took advantage of the Cambridge examiners’ visit to have a Teaching Knowledge Test the day before (17 June), when our eight English teachers (yes, eight!, with Margaret, Sarah, two volunteers and four Paraguayans) sat the module on Knowledge About Language.
